Holly is an artist and education support worker, with a vested interest in arts-accessibility and trauma-informed teaching practice. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Art (Expanded Studio Practice) at RMIT University, and is currently undertaking a Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practice at MIECAT. She works in an array of different mediums including; performance, sculpture, installation, poetry, drawing, painting and textiles. Holly works and volunteers as a part of various art programs in alternative education settings and mainstream schools to support young people with additional needs and those who are disengaged. In her art practice, Holly explores concepts of accessibility, function and systems of support. While her practice is always evolving, there is an ongoing curiosity about the body and it’s non-hierarchical relationship to material, the world and systems that influence that relationship.

Currently based in Naarm (Melbourne) Victoria, Australia.

I acknowledge the people of the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung language groups as the traditional custodians of the land on which I predominantly work and live. I acknowledge specifically the Wurundjeri people of so-called-Melbourne, and pay my respect to Elders past, present and emerging. I extend this respect to the rich history of visual and performing arts inherent in this area of country. These lineages of story telling, teaching and learning have been, and always will be, powerful modes of sharing and connecting.
Sovereignty has never been ceded.
